We have many dial up users on Fistforum and it's very frustrating to them when they don't know what they are downloading or if they already have it because it can take them half an hour to download one 9mb movie clip.
Screenshots are not required, but without them you need to provide a good description in your first post of the action your movie contains.
Screenshots are very easy to make.
Here is what you do to make screenshots from your movies...
Option 1.
With Windows Media Player
1.) Start the movie and when it gets to a spot you like, pause the movie and press "ctrl & i" together, this will give you a "save image as" Window.
2.) Give the Screenshot a Name
3.) In the box below under "file type" select "jpeg" if not already.
4.) Choose the location to save your Screenshot (just like saving a picture or movie)
You now have a screenshot of your movie that you can post, I suggest you make a minimum of 2 or a couple more if your movie is longer or has multiple scenes.
Option 2.
If your media player won't make a screenshot (some versions may not) then you need to obtain a screenshot making program, there are some free ones around and one that has worked well and easy for me is "Frameshots".
1.) You can find this free program here ==>
http://www.frame-shots.com/ (choose trial version)
2.) It's as simple as selecting "File" then "Open" and locating and selecting your movie.
3.) Pause the Movie at a good spot and select "Take Snapshot"
4.) If your happy with it select... "Save Thumbnail"
You now have a screenshot you can post, you may also continue playing the movie after saving the first one and make more by taking another snapshot
