I've just bought a Belladonna Magic Hand for anal use. It's made of sil i gel which some websites claim to be porous (so difficult to thorougly clean.) I've never had a toy made of this stuff before - my question is do I need to put a condom over it every time or can I use it without and just clean with anti bacterial sex toy wipes?
If you have any experience of the toy or anything else made from similar I'd be interested to hear (otherwise I'll just take the condom route and buy shares in Durex.)

Yes, you are correct.  I would start by using good hot water and plain antibacterial soap to clean it, maybe soaking it in the sink.  Using a condom is a good idea ... it certainly makes for easier cleanup!  On another note, I did have one gel toy in particular that always resulted in a burning sensation during use.  It ended up always not being the least bit comfortable on the tender areas and it did melt against another toy in the draw when they touched, so I just threw it out.  ~f

I had the same experience as Felch. Had  toy that always seemed greasy, even when it hadn't been used in a while. Stung every time and also melted when it touched another in the toy drawer. It too got trashed

my verry first toy was like that I was cheap with it seemed expensive at the time and now I know what expensive is.... spend money get a good toy and never regret it
