I've been playing with myself for years, only recently have I found someone who shares most my fetish. However, I'm scared to show my butthole because it is not pretty. Well if that's the case then I would guess that you're not playing safe i.e. you are stretching too fast and with not enough lube or even still not the right lube. Silicone lube and crisco are the best for ass training. Water based lubes cannot stay slick long enough and can't take the abuse.

Sadly (since you are concerned about it) I think that the cottage cheese/bubbles/pock marks around the inside edge of the sphincter are at least long term, if not permanent, once they are there.  I would agree that they (at least mine) have almost certainly formed during some of our less patient days.  That would be most days for me!   I have too frequently pushed past a little stretch/pain/fissure, and noticed these forming when I would get particularly aggressive.  My biggest ever stretch left me with visible bruising on both sides of the hole where there had been some serious pressure against the bones.  I think that pushing out during play contibutes the most to this, because you can strain enough to create small hemorrhoids in the blood vessels around your ring.
I can think of two things you might try.  The first would be PreparationH, which is meant to shrink the insides of your rectum and reduce or remove hemorrhoids.  The other would be any of the standard treatments for scar tissue, vitamins e&a, zinc tablets, etc.
