I know glass jars are a problem, but has anyone ever heard of or had problems with glass coke bottles?  They are very thick and have a great shape.

There are dildos made from glass and those are safe. I would say that a coke bottle is safe as long as you don't use a hammer as a vibrator.

never heard or had problems with glass bottles, do think the bottles are a bit safer than the jars, and the glass dildos are a lot safer as long as they are not hollow or have air bubbles/internal voids.

Just remember it is glass and it could break, so use some caution when using any thing glass.
They might sell a plastic version of the bottle that would be a safe.

I am guessing it is the solid with no give effect you get from the glass that is so appealing and the smoothness.  You can find many things like shaped stones or paperweights etc that would give a similar feel but to be honest me personally since seeing that movie clip 1 guy 1 jar - I would never ever use any type of glass object.

But that is just me.

I do agree they are a great shape thou!!

be safe and have fun.

It is so annoying when you are unable to upload vids or pics.

I have enjoyed for many years mounting a coke bottle and retaining it with my harness.  I keep it in for periods of a few hours to a couple of days.  Driving can be interesting on rough roads though.   After seeing that 1 man 1 jar video a couple of days ago it made my sphincter pucker a little.  If anyone knows of a plastic or metal object of similar shape and dimension let me know.

While the coke bottle seems to be sturdy ... and that classic shape and texture is absolutely amazing ... it's still glass.  I guess I am no longer a fan of any type of glass jars or bottles, due to sharp edges and the distinct possiblity of breakage.  Don't get me wrong ... in the past, I have taken a bottle or two  Wink , BUT, after an incident where I lightly squeezed a beer bottle in my fist and it shattered, that incident totally turned me off ... instantly.  All I could imagine is my ass accidentally crushing the same bottle ... during an uncontrollable reflex ... while buried inside of me.  Give me a good solid huge silicone toy any day!

I have several rubber items but they irritate after being for very long.  Steel and glass don't do that.  I guess it is time to go in search of a more durable object.

These are available at any automotive store and come in different sizes up to 2-5/16" diameter.  They are very heavy with the long shank and really move things around when you try to walk.

I gave that some thought early on.  The companies that machine those types of items are a little expensive.  Although I should not complain about money when it comes to my hobby.  I decided that with the thickness of the glass, the bottle which has been used for years should continue to work.  I am however going to make a mold from it and cast a silicone version in the near future.  I am curious to see if that will feel similar.

I had a very interesting dilemma, with a similar problem. I used to love to use the older style Michelob bottels, they were not as tall as a coke bottle, and had a great shape. I always worried one might break though, so I ended up turning a wooded replica on my wood lathe, and then sanded it very smooth and coated it with a great hard water based lacquer. I still use a condom over it, but it has the solid feel I loved, without the danger. I now have several home made wooden toys that I use more then any of my bought toys. So beyond metal wood can be a much cheaper alternative to having a shape you want made.

Great idea.  I have access to a wood lathe and could increase the size slightly.

You could also fill the bottle with a plaster or other hard setting material that would give it extra strength.

As far as wood after you get your shape down you might want to look at I think its spelled derlin its a type of hard plastic that can be turned on most wood lathes.

if you ever visited the website everything butt they had don't know if you would call it a plug or a dildo that was called the honey comb and that is what it and several of the other solid black plugs were they used when the website first started.

Thanks for the ideas.  The solid plastic Derlin opens up lots of possibilities.  Went to Everything Butt but did not find what I had in mind But I did find several things to consider.

I believe the plastic you're thinking of is Delrin. Another alternative that I think would be even better is UHMW. It's a very durable, clean, and slick plastic. It's a stable and safe enough material that it's widely used in medical implants.
