In some forums it is very bad etiquette to post a new comment on an older thread.
In some forums that could be only a few weeks back.

I have wanted to make some comments on older topics but have not because I have not seen any comments in threads or sticky's here either way.

if your talking about making a comment and revising an old thread, go for it. A lot of them don't get replied to in a day or so and then are so far down the list we all forget about them.
