I have a similar problem, movie is 8mb.
The error I get is about server reïnitialization during upload.

The site has undergone some changes over the weekend and may not be quite up to 100 % yet. Give it a couple days and try again. If not there was a post in the how to's and FAQ's as to how to post longer videos

according to the rules and such, 8mb should not be a problem, I'm guesing it's a server problem.

i posted a vid earlier that was under 1 MB in size (i think around 900kb) and that went through fine. just out of curiosity, i split the vid i was trying to post, to 800KB portions, and they posted just fine. makes me think that maybe someone's missed a zero in the box where you can specify how large a file gets posted....?
