It seem the only way to disagree with a moderator is to message them privately.
Can we not have a thread where all such queries are posted out in the open?

no, that is in the rules. If you have a problem with a mod, contact the mod, if you can't work it out between you, contact the admin.
We are not here to debate, or argue with the members, and this is NOT a democracy, so you really don't get a vote, the mods are reasonable, and will try to work with you, but, we will have the final word, and making it public will just draw others into it and turn it into a debate or an arguement

to take it one step further, we have lives, families and jobs, we have work to do while we are logged in. We answer to the admin, and basically have our own rules to work with and guide us, we don't want to spend our time here answering to every member with questions on the reason why we handle a certain situation a certain way, after all, you don't know what pms or such we may have exchanged with a banned member, or why we might delete some threads and allow others to stand

We have to say that when we had a problem, contacted a moderator who explained exactly why things had been done that upset us. I thought long and hard about it, and do you know what? They were right. It is their club and we have to abide by their rules. Perhaps sometimes things could be said in a slightly different manner, but people are human and sometimes have a bad day. Only hope you can get your problem sorted out focus, as it would be sad for a dispute to stop you being on here.

No I don't have a problem any Mods, they all seem fair and responsive in my experience, that was not not what I said, I said "Can we not have a thread where all such queries are posted out in the open?" The answer is No so please consider this topic closed. Thanks  |

While we listen to your concerns, mods are speical people who can drop in a comment after closure. 99 of the time they are cleaning up so, you know, the janitors have to have a lol once in a while.
Are you seriously insinuating is that were about to go all craaaazzzy with our pow-ah?

Many thanks to those who have agreed to be "spam moderators". I hope that this will resolve the problem now - I know it wont stop the spammers, but at least their nasty postings wont be there for all to see for too long.
